The Under 21's had only been beaten once during the season and once again they produced the goods as Ian Withers, Paul Newstead and Jamie Phillips all won to secure the second title of the day for their respective teams and also mean they had secured enough points to ensure the overall title was also won.
So a very successful season has been enjoyed, the team winning nine of their ten matches and afterwards, Youth Organiser - Dusty Miller (who has been involved with the County Youth squads, since its inception) was moved to tears and unable to put into words what this great season has meant to him. County Chairman, Peter Melton paid tribute to Dusty by saying "this man has put many years into the Cambridgeshire youth squads and today is a culmination and reward for all his hard work and everyone is truly proud of what this squad and he has achieved."
