Terry Chapman

It is with deep regret that we have learnt that former County Chairman, Terry Chapman has passed away.

For those who didn't know Terry he was one of the original people who formed Cambridgeshire in 1974-75. He lived in Ely with his wife Jean and at one time ran a trophy shop in Ely High Street. He ran a Super League team from the now closed Red, White & Blue in Ely and was instrumental in the County enjoying their times at Hiams Social Club in Prickwillow and later at the Sugar Beet Club in Ely.

I would like to send my condolences to Terry's family and also thank him for his efforts in the early days of the Cambridgeshire Darts Organisation.

I am very pleased that Paul & Bridget Gostling were able to attend Terry's funeral to represent Cambridgeshire and a donation has been sent to Guide Dogs for the Blind as requested by Terry's family.
